STEAM education<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST is the educational branch within&nbsp;<strong>BinYoDa<\/strong>, focused on the development, guidance, and transfer of high-quality robotics and STEAM education programs based on the FIRST philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With over&nbsp;<strong>eight years of in-depth experience<\/strong>&nbsp;in FIRST and STEAM education, MO\u2019sFIRST combines technical coaching, educational design, and presentation skills into a coherent and sustainable approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FIRST is not treated as a competition alone, but as a&nbsp;<strong>learning framework<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 one that develops technical ability, collaboration, reflection, and communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Experience &amp; background<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the past eight years, I have worked intensively within the FIRST ecosystem, supporting students, teams, and schools in building robotics programs that go beyond short-term success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>long-term involvement in&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstlegoleague.org\">FIRST LEGO League<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coaching teams across multiple seasons and competition levels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>designing sustainable robotics programs within school contexts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>guiding teams toward strong technical and presentation outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In&nbsp;<strong>2023<\/strong>, the team I coached qualified for the&nbsp;<strong>FIRST LEGO League International Finals in Houston, Texas<\/strong>, competing on the world stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This experience reinforced the importance of preparation, reflection, and professional presentation in high-level robotics education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A holistic coaching approach<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST integrates three interconnected domains that together form a complete learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Robotics &amp; engineering<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students develop skills in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>robot design and programming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>iterative problem-solving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>research and innovation projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>teamwork under real constraints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technical excellence is pursued through&nbsp;<strong>guided learning<\/strong>, not instruction-by-command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Presentation &amp; communication<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A distinctive strength of MO\u2019sFIRST is its strong emphasis on presentation and storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drawing on my background as a&nbsp;<strong>Music director and<\/strong> <strong>Drama teacher<\/strong>, teams are coached in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>clear presentation structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>confident stage presence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collaboration during live presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>translating complex ideas into accessible stories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These skills are essential within FIRST competitions \u2014 and transferable far beyond them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ownership &amp; personal growth<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST places strong emphasis on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>student ownership of the learning process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reflection and feedback<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collaboration over competition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach aligns closely with the FIRST Core Values and supports personal development alongside technical growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Programs within MO\u2019sFIRST<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST brings experience and methodology together in clearly defined programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>REborn<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Robotica Educatie Bornego<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REborn was a comprehensive robotics education program developed within a secondary school context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It integrated multiple robotics competitions \u2014 FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and World Robot Olympiad \u2014 into a single, coherent learning pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After successful development and the integration of new coaches, REborn was&nbsp;<strong>fully transferred<\/strong>&nbsp;and continues independently under local leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As in May 2026 I am no longer employed at the Bornego College, and I am no longer involved in the day-to-day execution of REborn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REborn now functions for me as a&nbsp;<strong>completed case study<\/strong>&nbsp;and foundational reference within MO\u2019sFIRST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/binyoda.nl\/index.php\/mosfirst\/reborn\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"50\">\u2192&nbsp;<em>Read more about REborn<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ghindeni, Romania<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>International FIRST LEGO League development<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ghindeni represents the international application of the MO\u2019sFIRST approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within an Erasmus+ framework, this ongoing collaboration focuses on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>establishing and expanding FIRST LEGO League teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coaching students and local educators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>building sustainable structures adapted to local context<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fostering international collaboration and exchange<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project includes student exchanges and an annual on-site visit around&nbsp;<strong>June<\/strong>, ensuring continuity and long-term development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/binyoda.nl\/index.php\/mosfirst\/erasmus-roemenie\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"52\">\u2192&nbsp;<em>Read more about Ghindeni, Romania<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Independent and forward-looking<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST operates independently and is not tied to a single institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This independence allows for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>flexible collaboration with schools and partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>international program development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cross-border knowledge transfer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST builds on proven experience while remaining adaptable to new educational contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What MO\u2019sFIRST stands for<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MO\u2019sFIRST represents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>depth of experience within FIRST and STEAM education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>balance between technology and communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sustainable program design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>international perspective<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>transferability and continuity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is not about running teams or seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is about building&nbsp;<strong>learning structures that last<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FIRST LEGO League coaching &amp;
